Paper Submission

Paper submission:
  • Authors must submit 'regular paper' only. 
  • All papers should be submitted in PDF format through the Paper Submission System.
  • All submitted papers should be 4-8 pages long, IEEE two-column format and written in English. A maximum of 2 extra pages is permitted with overlength payment, US $40 (NT $ 1,200) per page.
  • Manuscript should be unpublished work and include enough detail about the goal, the problem to solve, proposed methods and main results.
  • All papers will undergo a mandatory CrossCheck service to ensure not more than 30% similarity prior to the review process. Papers that did not meet the similarity requirement will be rejected promptly. Authors are encouraged to resubmit their paper after revision.
  • Authors must indicate their preference for poster and / or oral presentation during submission.

  • Regular paper:

Review Process:
  • All submitted papers will undergo a single-round double-blind review process. 
  • Each paper will be reviewed by at least two reviewers recommended by the technical committee members whose area of ​​​​expertise match the topic of the paper.
  • The review result will be announced on Jul. 01,  2021 .
  • Authors of accepted papers will be notified to choose whether to publish in our conference proceedings journal (IEEE International Conference on Social Sciences and Intelligent Management SSIM-2021) or in a Scopus-indexed proceedings journal where an additional publication fee may apply.

Poster Presentations:

  • Authors must be accepted for a POSTER presentation. 
  • In addition to the previously submitted full text, authors shall prepare an A4 poster.
  • Authors who have registered will be granted access to a Poster section where they can submit their poster.
  • There is no restriction to the format of the poster.
  • Images and figures must have high resolution.
  • The A4 poster must be submitted as a PDF file.

 

Oral Presentations:

  • Authors must be accepted for an ORAL presentation. 
  • Each paper must be presented by at least one author.
  • Each author must deliver a 10-12 minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session (2-3 minute).
  • The author must be present online during the allocated slot to be considered effective participation.
  • The author can choose to present either by playing a pre-recorded video or live streaming.
